Premiere on September 13th and 14th 2008 at PlayTime at Béton Salon, Paris
In the form of a consultation, an appointment, a tête-à-tête or an interview, this concert for one gives voice to erotic sonnets from the 17th century. These poems, often anonymous, state and address flows of desire, obscene and sublime, locked up, captive in the very formalized versification codes of the sonnet. The face-to-face encounter allows intimacy to explode, disturbing, disquieting, sensual, contained and repressed by this type of social situation. François Chaignaud revisits this performance initiated in 2008.
Based on a repertoire of sonnets by Madeleine de l’Aubespine, Marie-Catherine-Hortense de Villedieu, Mathurin Régnier and others.
